All our veterinarians are qualified surgeons. Dr. Peretti is certified to perform TPLO orthopedic surgeries. Between all of our veterinarians, we have 45 years of surgical experience which includes soft tissue surgeries, ophthalmic repairs, orthopedics, spays, neuters and declaws. All pets for surgery are admitted between 7:30 am and 9:00 am, unless specific instructions are given to come at a different time. Food should be withheld from your pet after midnight the day before surgery. Water consumption is not harmful during the night, but should be withheld the morning of the surgery. You will be asked to fill out some paperwork upon admittance. These papers include an anesthesia release and authorization of pre-operative lab work.

Inquiries concerning surgery patients should be made after 3:00 pm the day of surgery. If there is an unexpected change in your pet's condition, the Doctor will contact you.

Please phone us before coming to pick up your pet. This will help insure that your pet is ready for discharge. If you have any problems or unanswered questions once you are home, please feel free to call us. Give all medications as instructed until they are completed.
